A form of asexual reproduction where a new organism develops from an outgrowth or bud due to cell division at one particular site.
A small part of the body of the parent grows out as a 'bud' which then detaches and becomes a new organism.
Hydra reproduces by budding. A bud develops as an outgrowth in hydra due to repeated cell division at one specific site.
When it gets matured, the bud detaches itself from the parent body and develops into new individual.
