Compounds such as alcohol and glucose also contains hydrogen but are not categorized as acids.

As the hydrogen present in alcohol and glucose are not ionisable that is why this hydrogen is not present as H+(aq) in solutions. Hence, alcohol and glucose are not considered acids.
